What a month gets you

FSD (Supervised) can steer, change lanes, take turns and park while you watch the road. A month is long enough to try it on your commute, a highway trip and a busy parking lot, then decide whether it's worth paying for.

Good to know

  • Your car needs FSD-capable hardware and has to be registered to you in the Tesla app.
  • You can't use it if you've paid for an FSD subscription or had any FSD trial in the past 12 months, including the trial some new cars come with.
  • If you already bought FSD outright, it doesn't apply to you.
  • It's US only for now.
  • FSD (Supervised) needs an attentive driver at all times. It doesn't make the car drive itself.

About the link on this page: this is our personal Tesla referral link. If you start a trial through it and then subscribe to FSD, Tesla gives us a free month of FSD or a Tesla credit. Nobody paid for this page and Tesla didn't review it. Offers change, so Tesla's own terms win if anything here is out of date. Last checked October 30, 2026.
